- As the subject describes, with a 6 meter modem cable my phone
- line is always busy while the modem is DISconnected.
- Using the shorter 2meter cable frees the phone line when
- I disconnect, as normal.

- Could this really be because of the length, or because the cable is
- somehow just different?

- I'll have to reorganise the whole living room if I have to
- use the shorter cable. :-(

- BTW. I'm in Germany, the PC is Win95, the modem is Creatix 14.4
